This Privacy Notice will describe:

We collect information when:

You submit a Support Request through the website

While you were onboarded as a customer, GoSecure created one or more Zendesk accounts for your organization to enable you to submit, view and manage your tickets with us. When you initially click on the red ‘Open Support Case’ button on our site, the login and any further activities are not taking place in a GoSecure-managed environment. We have outsourced ticketing to Zendesk, which is a cloud-based SaaS with hosting in the USA. The click of the ‘Open Support Case’ button will redirect to you Zendesk. At this point you become a Zendesk end user, and their cookie policy applies.

The tickets for your organization are held for the duration of the contract with us.

You contact us or request a demo

The Request Demo and Contact Us form will ask for your:

  • First name
  • Last name
  • Job title
  • Business email
  • Business phone
  • The product you are interested in
  • The type of request you have
  • The name of your company
  • The country your company is based in

In addition, you can leave a free text message. Please avoid providing us with personal information in the free text field.

We require this information to allow us to assign the request to the right person within GoSecure, and adequately respond to your request.

This information is not held within GoSecure systems but is redirected to Marketo, our marketing system, which is hosted in the USA. GoSecure data held there is retained for 3 years. From there the data is copied to our Salesforce system, which is also hosted in the USA. The data retention for requests depends on if the request results in a sale. A copy of the form’s content is also sent to the website administrator which is kept for 3 years. The retention period for emails is 3 years as well.

When you click on the LinkedIn or X icon

No data is collected. You will simply be redirected to one of the third-party platforms.

When you click on the ‘Follow Us’ button for LinkedIn and X

GoSecure does not collect information from you. We only know the account you are following us from. Admins on LinkedIn or X are unable to see who viewed or landed on the page.

We provide links through our security blog

When reading the blog, you will find occasional links to other sources. Those are redirects that will take you to a different website with their own cookie management and privacy settings. GoSecure does not take responsibility once you leave our page.

You visit our offices

Should you visit us at one of our locations, we will ask you to complete a visitor log.

The following information is captured:

  • Data of your visit
  • Your name
  • Your company’s name (if applicable)
  • The time of entry
  • The time of departure

The log is kept for 6 months. We then have them professionally shredded by a third party that provides us with a destruction certificate.

We need this information to comply with PCI DSS.

You show interest in our job openings

You will be redirected to ADP, where we host and manage job postings and receive applications through. Two necessary cookies are delivered, which are managed by ADP.

When you apply for a job

Three additional temporary, necessary cookies are delivered from ADP. The form that appears will ask for your:

  • First and last name
  • Email address
  • Phone number

Your phone number and email address are shared with ADP, as they provide a verification service to us.

Once you have been verified through a code ADP sends to your phone or email, we will ask for your address. Once the address is provided, the job application session opens, and a session cookie is delivered. You can now provide your documents, which contain personal information under the privacy legislation GoSecure is governed by.

The uploaded documents are hosted in the USA. Copies may be downloaded by HR personnel or the hiring manager.

Only GoSecure HR personnel and the hiring manager have access to candidate files. ADP is a processing entity for GoSecure, with no access to the data we collect from our candidates.

Information provided by successful and unsuccessful candidates is retained for 3 years.

You call our 24/7 Emergency number

We do not collect personal identifiable information regulated by Law25. All information is business related. We do not record calls.

You visit us at our booth at a conference

We might ask you for your email address and name. This information is transferred into our customer relationship management tool (Salesforce) and retained for 3 years.

We use Google Analytics

Google Analytics uses cookies to collect information about how visitors use our website. These cookies gather data in a way that does not directly identify any individual. We do not allow Google to use or share our analytics data with third parties. Moreover, we have put measures in place to prevent tracking users who have activated the “Do Not Track” option in their browsers. For those who wish to opt-out of being tracked by Google Analytics, we also provide a link to the Google Analytics opt-out tool on our site.
