Neal Creighton, Chief Executive Officer
Neal Creighton has over twenty years of experience in the cybersecurity industry. Neal has served as CEO since 2012 and leads GoSecure’s efforts to drive next-generation Managed Detection and Response innovation.
As co-founder, President and CEO at GeoTrust, Neal led $24 million in financing and sold GeoTrust to VeriSign (NASDAQ: VRSN) for $125 million. Other ventures Creighton has spearheaded include GeoTrust spin-off ChosenSecurity, acquired by PGP, Corp. (now Symantec), and AffirmTrust LLC, acquired by Trend Micro.
Neal serves on the advisory board of the Army Cyber Institute and on Shield Capital Partners technology advisory board. He also speaks regularly at industry conferences including RSA, Gartner Security & Risk Summit and America’s Growth Capital.
Neal is a graduate of the USMA at West Point and holds a JD and an MBA from Northwestern University. He also served in Desert Storm and is a graduate of the U.S. Army Ranger School.
Rick Miller, Chief Operating Officer
Rick Miller brings over 20 years of cybersecurity experience to his role as Chief Operating Officer. Prior to joining GoSecure, Rick spent 4 years at Trustwave as General Manager of North America. Before Trustwave he served multiple senior leadership roles including Vice President of Managed Security Services and Service Optimization at Hewlett Packard (HP) Enterprise and IBM’s Director of Security Consulting.
He received a master’s degree in information systems from Oakland University and a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Michigan.
David DeRuff, Chief Financial Officer
David DeRuff has 20+ years of investment banking experience focused on growth companies in industries where technology plays a transformative role.
Prior to joining GoSecure, David was a partner at DBO Partners, a technology investment banking firm in the San Francisco Bay Area, where he advised companies strategically on scaling to the next level. In addition to his experience in M&A and growth equity, David’s expertise extends to operational roles. He previously served as DBO Partners COO and CCO, working to ensure smooth operations, access to the best information and highly available technology solutions, and compliance with industry regulations.
A proven entrepreneur, David founded, built, and sold East Peak Advisors, one of the early boutique advisory firms. He received a BS in Accounting and Finance from the University of California at Berkeley and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
Eric Rochette, Chief Technology Officer
Eric Rochette brings over 15 years of experience in information security and currently serves as Chief Technology Officer for the company. Over the last few years he has led the company’s professional services, which includes offerings in advisory, pentesting and operational services. With a background in information security risk assessments, cybersecurity assessment and security architecture, his strong experience in service delivery has allowed him to help structure, organize and improve the organization’s offerings and ensure the delivery of high-value services. In addition, he has served as a security advisor to numerous boards in need of strategic guidance in cybersecurity.
Prior to leading professional services at GoSecure, Eric built and led the company’s Advisory team where he managed the delivery of a variety of assessments, audits and security architecture design projects. He started his career as a security analyst having performed a multitude of security solution implementations for private and public sector organizations.
Eric holds a degree in Computer Engineering from Montreal’s Polytechnique University.
Anne-Marie Faber, Chief Marketing Officer
Anne-Marie Faber is an experienced marketing executive with 15+ years in the IT industry, focused on Security. She brings energy and pragmatism to GoSecure in her role as Chief Marketing Officer where she oversees all aspects of GoSecure marketing strategy including corporate messaging, branding, corporate communications, digital demand generation, field, and channel marketing.
Anne-Marie’s strong track record has helped various companies evolve into market leaders with double-digit revenue growth and her philosophy underscores the importance of a close partnership with all sales channels, both direct and indirect, as well as an emphasis on constant creativity and the ability to think differently than competitors do.
Anne-Marie attended Laval University in Québec City where she earned both her Bachelor’s degree in Marketing Business Administration as well as a Master’s of Business Administration (MBA). She also holds a Master’s Certificate in Project Management from York University.
Mathieu Grignon, Senior Vice President of Corporate Development & Product Management
Mathieu Grignon has 20+ years of experience in strategy, corporate development & administrative roles primarily in the cybersecurity industry. Currently serving as SVP of Corporate Development and Product Management, his focus is on managing the company’s accelerating growth as the company scales both organically through innovation and via acquisitions.
Prior to the acquisition of GoSecure by CounterTack, Mathieu was an owner and senior executive of GoSecure and was instrumental in helping the company establish itself as one of Canada’s top Cybersecurity consulting firms and major global MSSP players as recognized by IDC in its Canadian security services Marketscape.
Mathieu holds an MBA and a degree in governance, audit and security of information systems along with several industry certifications. He is a thought leader in the industry and regularly presents at industry conferences, publishes articles and is invited to talk about cybersecurity in various broadcast media.
Thomas Wallace, Senior Vice President of Engineering
Thomas Wallace brings twenty-four years of cybersecurity engineering leadership experience. As the Senior Vice-President of Engineering, Thomas is responsible for leading the GoSecure engineering, development and infrastructure teams.
Prior to joining GoSecure, Thomas had a long career at IBM, most recently as the Global Engineering lead and CIO of the Managed Security Services business. His wide-ranging accomplishments include building the industry’s first 24×7 Managed Security Services Provider Security Operations Center as well as scaling an engineering team from six to 200 people across four continents.
Julien Turcot, Senior Vice President of Sales
Julien Turcot is a recognized executive with over 20 years of experience in large-scale information security, cyber resilience programs, and risk management. Renowned for his expertise in translating technological challenges into concrete business solutions, Julien has a proven track record of delivering exceptional results. He has successfully deployed advanced IT solutions across various industries in Canada, significantly improving security and reducing costs for organizations.
With a natural leadership ability and the capacity to handle multiple projects simultaneously, Julien thrives under pressure and embraces challenges with enthusiasm. He firmly believes that every problem has a solution and is dedicated to helping organizations achieve cybersecurity maturity. Leveraging his extensive experience in next-generation platforms and software-defined data centers, Julien has effectively built brand reputation and expanded territories for the organizations he has been associated with.
