Approval will help equip participating federal agencies networks and systems with the tools needed to improve cybersecurity
La Jolla, CA – GoSecure, a leading provider of Managed Detection and Response (MDR) services and a predictive Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) platform, today announced in conjunction with SAP NS2 and their GSA Schedule partner Carahsoft, the approval of the Continuous Diagnostics and Mitigation (CDM) program for GoSecure Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR). Achieving the approval of this new Congressional standard will help benefit GoSecure’s federal agency customers, ensuring their cybersecurity offerings are adequate, risk-based and cost-effective.
The CDM Program helps strengthen the cybersecurity of government networks and systems, providing a suite of capabilities and automated tools to federal agencies in the U.S. These tools enable security organizations to detect cybersecurity risks on an ongoing basis; prioritize these risks based upon potential impacts; and enable cybersecurity personnel to focus on the most significant problems first.
“As cybersecurity risks continue to escalate and evolve, posing significant threats to our nation, new approaches are required to combat them” said Neal Creighton, CEO of GoSecure. “Our detection and response platform was purpose built to detect the most advanced attacks. We are proud to have earned CDM approval so we can help better arm federal agencies in the fight against cyber threats.”
Designed to reduce cyber and operational risk, the CDM Program will enable GoSecure to deliver industry leading predictive multi-vector detection, prevention and response tools to agency partners. Using their sophisticated behavior-based detection and response platform, GoSecure will deliver comprehensive insights to federal agencies, enabling them to be cyber-ready for the future.
“We are thoroughly impressed with the GoSecure platform and look forward to the opportunities that this CDM approval provides to further protect the federal civilian space,” said Neil Herron, VP, Federal Civilian, SAP NS2. “Through this program, our federal customers will continue to see near-real time results, while still enhancing their network security in an efficient, cost-effective manner.”
This new approval comes at a time when cyber threats to U.S. national and economic security increase each year in frequency, scope and severity of impact. This risk, compounded with the increased dependence on remote platforms during the COVID-19 pandemic, has caused an uptick in demand for best-in-class enterprise technology to mitigate cybersecurity risks.
“We have worked closely with our Federal agency partners on many of the features of our detection and response platform” continues Creighton. “Federal agencies can have very specific use cases and we are proud to have built many of these in to our EDR solution.”
