CounterTack Opens New Japanese Subsidiary

CounterTack Japan K.K. to Spur Growth of Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) in Japan

Waltham, MA – CounterTack, the leading provider of Predictive Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) technology for the enterprise, today announced the formation of CounterTack Japan K.K. in Tokyo. The expanded Japanese presence is a direct response to CounterTack’s strong and growing demand in the region.

The new subsidiary fortifies CounterTack’s strategic partnership with NTT Security, the specialized security company of NTT Group, to broaden NTT Security Corporation’s Managed Endpoint Detection and Response Service with CounterTack’s Endpoint Threat Platform (ETP). The dynamic prevention and protection at scale offered by ETP rounds out NTT Security’s service offering with proven capabilities that allow enterprises worldwide to detect and respond to unknown malware, insider threat, data loss prevention, fileless malware, forensics and more.

The Tokyo office marks a significant milestone in the company’s global strategy, as CounterTack establishes a strong presence in the Asia Pacific market in general, and the Japanese market in specific. CounterTack has already built substantial technical, commercial and executive resources in the region as they pursue a total addressable market of tens of millions of endpoints in Japan alone

In conjunction with the establishment of the Japanese subsidiary, Hakuei Masuko has been named Director of Sales for the region and will be responsible for all operations and sales efforts. He joins a team of Japanese staff supporting domestic customers and partners.
