GoSecure Powered by CounterTack Appoints James Kunkel as Chief Operating Officer

Waltham, MA – GoSecure Powered by CounterTack, a leading provider of Predictive Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) platform and Managed Detection and Response (MDR) services, announced the appointment of James Kunkel as Chief Operating Officer.  Mr. Kunkel recently served as the Executive Vice President of Strategy and Corporate Development and Administration at Trustwave.  Under his leadership Trustwave was one of the most successful buyers and integrators of security companies in the industry.

Mr. Kunkel is a recognized leader in cybersecurity with over 20 years of experience in strategic business planning, corporate development, mergers and acquisitions, operations, and finance.  James led Trustwave’s M&A rollup strategy that included multiple acquisitions, and the eventual acquisition of Trustwave by SingTel for $810m.
